My most recent works come in the midst of a period of societal disruption that forces everyone to consider our own mortality, “purpose”, and relation to each other and our environment. 

 

I often feel comfortable in the winter, when societal expectations are reduced and solitude is more commonplace. During this extended metaphorical winter, I have felt that society has joined me in a state of reflection where we are mindful of the calm and anxiety that is always below the surface. 

 

I hope my work can bring us together and will be happy to engage!
